Students’ Project Showroom
Turtle programming for 3D Printing
Students learnt how to draw a series of shapes and patterns by commanding a turtle on the interface using block programming language.
Turning programmed graphic into a real live object
After designing the graphics with the patterns produced by block code, we transferred the image to a CAD program and sent the design to our 3D printer for printing.
Cup design with a name initial
One of our other 3D printing projects included constructing a mini cup with a CAD (Computer Aided Design) program that was personalised with our student's names.
3D name keyring design
In our 3D printing course, our students also personalised a keychain of their name which they brought home upon the completion of the program.
Pong game with MIT App Inventor
Using MIT App Inventor, our students constructed their own functioning multiplayer pong game that runs on the Android operating system.
Program robot to solve a maze
Our junior students also engaged in programming with the use of robotics, electronics, board games as well ad iPads! They get to command the movements of the robots, bringing them through an enchanted adventure.
